Imagine Family Day Care Program

We provide a variety of construction materials and loose parts to encourage children's creativity, promote problem solving skills, and support the development of collaborative play. Children are able to explore STEAM concepts and challenge their skills as they build and create.

We strongly value nature play and time spent outdoors. We spend a significant amount of time in the outdoors, playing, eating meals, listening to music, reading stories together, and engaging in a variety of collaborative experiences. 

We provide children with the opportunity to explore their creativity and imagination through dramatic and imaginative play, small world play, and dress-ups with props. Our activities are designed to help children explore different identities and points of view, and to make sense of their world.

The children engage with a range of activities to explore, create and express themselves. Our art and sensory play experiences are designed to nurture the creative process and encourage self expression. We love visual arts, creating with clay and playdough, exploring the beauty of natural materials, and experiences that awaken our senses. 

Our program is designed for children to learn early literacy and numeracy skills through meaningful play and experiences. We engage with daily opportunities for reading books together, playing games, singing songs, and mark-making. Children will develop their fine and gross motor skills and positive learning dispositions that will provide them with a solid foundation for further learning.

With our love of the outdoors, children have plenty of time and space to run around and engage in physical play. They often play collaborative group games that see them running, jumping and hiding together around the yard. We provide a range of equipment and opportunities for the children to challenge their skills, and engage in age-appropriate, calculated risk-taking behaviour.
